1. Instructions for use of analog voltage signal output (AOUT):
The relationship between the detection current and the analog signal output is as follows:
Analog signal output: V0=±la*K (the current actually flowing through the Ia current detection pin, K is linearity);
Taking the input current of 1A as an example, Vcc=5V, the linearity of WCS1800 is 60mV/A
Let’s briefly talk about the corresponding relationship between WCS1800 detection current and output voltage when the current flows in from the positive direction:
The formula V0=+ la*K, corresponding output: V0=(2.5+0.06)V=2.56V
When current flows in the opposite direction:
The formula V0=- la*K, corresponding output: V0=(2.5-0.06)V=2.44V
If it is an AC signal: V0=+ la*K, the corresponding output range of V0: 2.44V-2.56V
The above is the ideal value, the actual value will have a small accuracy error.
2.Switch output (DOUT) instructions
If in a circuit, if the current is higher than 1A, the module is required to output a high level:
Step 1: Pass a wire of the detection end through the round hole of the sensor (note that the current flows in from the forward direction at this time), then turn on the power supply, adjust the current of the detection end to 1A, turn the adjustable resistor Vref counterclockwise, and turn it all the way. It is good when the red LED is on (the transition point when the LED turns from off to bright is good, don’t screw it). At this time Vref>Vo.
Step 2: The setting of the upper limit current of 1A has been completed. Withdraw the 1A current, the LED will light up,
Step 3: In the future, when the current of the detected terminal exceeds 1A, the red LED does not light up, and the module DOUT outputs a high level at this time.
